CreateSpace

In 2017, Wake County debuted a new type of workspace in its office building - CreateSpace. Initiated by the Wake Innovates team, CreateSpace brought successful elements of the private sector to bear on the public sector, and encouraged collaboration for addressing organization-wide problems.

I was in charge of producing each step of this piece. I scripted, storyboarded, shot and edited the package. This piece along with several other graphic design elements and our department's press release won second place in the "Campaign" category at 2017's NC Association of Goverment Information Officers annual skills contest.

Video

Few stories cannot be told by harnessing the power of motion pictures to evoke emotion. From my day job to my sole proprietorship, video is my preferred medium.

Writing

The long-form narrative was my first love. Here you'll find some examples of my graduate coursework and copy I wrote as a senior writer at a marketing firm.

Photography

Getting a photograph to tell a story isn't simple; but as the (oldest) adage tells us, the payoff can be well worth the effort. I capture many landscapes and candid portraits.
